Vande bharat express speed is one of the fastest train in India. It is a semi-high-speed train and can run at a maximum speed of 160 km/h (99 mph).
There are two versions of the train: the first version, called VB1, was launched in 2019, and the second one, referred to as VB2, was introduced in 2022. The second version of the train is much faster than the first, and can accelerate to 100 km/h in 52 seconds.

It has 16 airconditioned coach and executive class carriages. It has reclining seats, a bigger television screen and Wi-Fi on board. It has automatic plug doors and touch-free sliding doors.
The train is powered by six traction motors. These traction motors are fitted on the axles of the bogies.
These bogies are connected to the loco through an electric supply, which feeds into the panto graph and then into the traction motors. The traction motors then rotate the axle and wheel fitted in the axles to start moving.

The bogies also have brakes. These brakes help the train stop quickly in case there is a breakdown. These braking systems are powered by regenerative braking technology, which saves 30% of energy costs. The regenerative braking system also helps reduce fuel consumption.
